Caterina Di Biase is without doubt one of Australia’s most creative and exceptionally talented hair artists. Proud to call her a friend for over a decade, it is so inspiring to witness her break all confines every year as I document the process’ and trials and errors that eventually result in her award winning creations. The techniques she uses to produce hairstyles simply defy gravity. The volume and length she creates and the boundaries she pushes with chemical colouring are just some of the projects awarded R&D incentives. This is one client I truly get excited about working with each year.

Four Pillars Gin in the Yarra Valley Victoria is such a magical place and sitting in on a masterclass with Sandy MacKenzie, Head Distiller, was the perfect way to digest not only the finished gin, but the techniques that set this product apart from its competition. The Research and Development Grant works on many levels with this company as is not only affords a tax concession for the company but it facilities Cameron and his team to continue research into the effects of Australian botanicals to produce and bottle the true spirit and essence of this great land. I am so proud to call Four Pillars a client and act on their behalf in accessing governments funds.

When I get an opportunity to work with some of Australia’s most innovative beauty clients, I get very excited as I myself have spent of 30 years in the beauty industry. Eye of Horus have developed one of my favourite beauty products with this new release Natural Vegan Bio Lift Mascara. Incorporating some of the most innovative ingredients and breakthrough technologies with the wand, it was inspiring to document all the trials and tribulations that occurred during the research and development stages of this product. Helping them access both the R&D grant and the Export Grant I am proud to be a part of their continued success through the assistance I can give on behalf of the Australian Government.

After a tour of his factory in Yamba NSW I witnessed first-hand the pure joy and excitement Peter gets from the development of his multi award winning products. Assisting my client Meredith Dairy to enable them to claim a rebate on the R&D grant is one of the most satisfying experiences, particularly as their Q Fever Vaccine will be such a scientific breakthrough for Australia. Working with Sandy, I was able to fully document the testing processes’ and record the trials and errors to satisfy that this project and its outcomes depend on continued vital research and with this research, comes considerable time and out of pocket expenses directly from the company. Thankfully the Research and Development Tax Incentive is there to support such initiatives and as a result has provided vital rebates that will allow Sandy and his dedicated team to continue research into this exciting project.
